Pride of Baltimore II's 2009 sailing season is quickly coming to a close. We're in the final weeks of the public schedule. Be sure to come see us during one of the events below:
November
The ship is tied up next to her winter berth in Baltimore (Canton), MD, where the crew is busy with Rig-down and winterizing lay-up. Over the next couple of weeks, practically everything carried aboard the ship during the sailing season will be offloaded - from propaganda and souvenirs to sails and rigging. The spars will remain, but they'll be placed on the deck. By mid-November, Pride II will be covered by a wooden frame and covered with plastic...awaiting the winter maintenance crew.
